Big Week Ahead

Hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend. I’m looking over the schedule for the upcoming week and I think we’ve got the spotlight shining on local people and local issues throughout the week.

On Monday, we’ll host the July edition of Radio-Tradio, swap meet on the air. And during the second half of the show, Dale Strowbridge from the Police Association will revisit the binding arbitration issue and preview Tuesday’s SLO City council meeting.

On Tuesday, Mardi and I will be broadcasting the entire show from the Central Coast Natural History Museum in Morro Bay. Our friends from Pacific Wildlife Care will be displaying some exotic animals. C’mon by and say hi.

On Wednesday, local attorney James Duenow will explain his hesitation about letting the Copelands buy the Chinatown property in SLO.

On Thursday, Verena Maier, who speaks four languages, will react to Barack Obama’s recent public suggestion that all children learn Spanish. OK, but shouldn’t they all learn English, too?

Finally, on Friday, Rob Rossi and Doug Filliponi will have a chance to respond to Anne McMahon’s discussion about Santa Margarita.

Good shows throughout the week. Hope you can join us.
