KVEC Questions & Answers

We get emails, lots of emails, here on Hometown Radio. Most of them evolve around three basic questions.

Question #1: “What Happened to the Podcasts?”

Good question. As I’ve tried to explain on the radio, we are caught in one of those “transition phases” between our old owners Clear Channel and new owners El Dorado. There has been so much to do at the radio station these last six weeks and I think the KVEC podcasts have been put on the back burner until we get some more tech people on board. We continue to record the show each and every day, but I have zero idea when these podcasts from January will finally be made available.

If you want to help the cause, please send an email to tristannegranti@edbroadcasters.com and politely request that the podcasts be updated.

Question #2: “How Come the KVEC Web Site Isn’t Being Updated?’

Another good question. I LOVE animals, but even I’m getting tired of seeing Ralphie, the one-eyed cat, on our site. He’s been there for five weeks. Greg Russo is back on board part-time doing our El Dorado web sites. I will be “encouraging” him to get the KVEC web site back on track ASAP. We know it is a vital link for our listeners.

Question #3 “Where’s Matt?”

If you have been listening to the radio show lately, you know that Mardi Hall has joined Hometown Radio as my new producer. Mardi is now screening phone calls and doing all the Traffic & Weather Together updates. I think she’s doing a great job and I’m especially pleased to be adding a woman’s voice to the mix. She has a hard act to follow in Matt, but I know she’ll quickly become part of the KVEC family. Meanwhile, I’m hopeful that we’ll continue to hear from Matt, just like we now regularly do from Tom Madsen.

Any other questions?

What happened to the podcasts? No new ones have been posted since last year.

The web site seems like it has fallen behind and needs to be updated.

The contact page is wrong etc. An intern could maybe take control of
    the web page?

If the archive of podcasts remains it would help if the summary of each one is included so you can find them easily.

I am missing hearing the podcasts. I usually will listen at night since I can’t always listen during the day. Hope they come back soon.

Welcome Mardi. I like your laugh!

OK, so your post is on the blog. Happy? What’s your point? What do you think you know that no one is revealing?
