When is that piece of crap, Jack Murtha, going to issue an apology for saying the the US Marines committed murders in Hidatha. Didn’t Santa Maria Bill and The Code Stink people use this against the troops too.

What about the gun control guy. Check out this great article.

HOUSTON — A state lawmaker who opposed a bill giving Texans stronger right to defend themselves with deadly force pulled a gun and shot a man he says was trying to steal copper wiring from a construction site, police said Monday.

Rep. Borris Miles told police he was fixing a leak on the second floor of the Houston house he’s building Sunday night when he heard a noise downstairs and saw two men trying to steal the copper. After Miles confronted the pair, one of the men threw a pocketknife at him, Houston Police spokesman Victor Senties.

Miles, a former law enforcement officer, shot the man in the left leg, police said. The wounded suspect was being treated at a Houston hospital. Police were trying to identify the other suspect.

Charges of aggravated robbery are pending against the wounded suspect, Senties said.

Police said Miles, who is in his freshman term, is licensed to carry a concealed weapon. No charges have been filed against Miles, Senties said.

Miles, a Democrat, voted against a bill that gives Texans stronger legal right to defend themselves with deadly force in their homes, vehicles, and workplaces. The so-called “castle doctrine,” passed by the Legislature this year, states that a person has no duty to retreat from an intruder before using deadly force. The law goes into effect Sept. 1.

    Dave, you are a ding-a-ling.

Have a great name calling day.

That was my point Mr. Ted! Dave claims to be able to call anyone any name he wants to since it is his blog. Get it?

Bob, in order for humor to be funny, it is usually best to have some degree of truth to it. In other words, you have to be able to imagine it is possible for it to be funny. Your list is ridiculous and very sad frankly. Dr. Dobson is a Doctorate, not a Rev.

Bob, can you answer each of the questions for me please?

Cheney has a lesbian daughter, do you think he hates gays as much as you hate conservatives?

Do you think that VP Cheney has any desire to drink blood?

Do you think Mark Foley, who is gay and was going after 18 YR Old guy males, is horrible because he is gay, or because he was a republican?

Did you see Jerry’s little list (which I find not all that humorous) and decide to try one on your own?

Thanks, I doubt you will have the courage to answer any or all of these questions, but thought others may enjoy the question and the hate-filled response I will get from you or the deletion I will get from Dove.

new tone: Sure, I’ll answer your questions, I am not “afraid” of questions.

    1. I think Dick Cheney hates gays more than I find most hard right conservatives “objectionable”.

    2. If Dick Cheney thought that drinking human blood would give him power or longer life or some self serving agenda, I honestly believe that he would strongly consider it.

    3. I don’t think Mark Foley is “horrible”, period. The fact that he is gay doesn’t bother me in the least. The fact that he is a Republican doesn’t bother me. What bothered me about Mark Foley was the fact that he hid his “secret” to the general public, but most who worked around him knew what he was up to. If you are a gay person you shouldn’t have to hide it; I am not saying you have to proclaim yourself from the nearest rooftop, but don’t stay so deep in the closet. And of course the irony was the fact that he is a Republican, the party that uses the fear of the gay lifestyle to drive their “base” to the voting booth, time after time.

    4. Yes.

And his name is Dave. The amusing part of those on the right who continually misspell or mangle names on purpose is how clever you think you are being, but to everyone else you come across as juvenile. I know this is a tactic that Rush uses all of the time and his listeners eat it up, but it really is pathetic.

Actually, I don’t particularly care about what Bill Benica is doing on the radio.

Matt Donovan and I both emailed Bill the minute we heard the news about his show going to AA and wished him well. Neither one of us ever heard back.

Bill is our friend and we love the guy, but he doesn’t get a free pass from us. He chose the 3 p.m. slot and if someone (like Bob) brings Bill up, I’ll comment, just as I would about any other media person.

To say that republicans hate gays is equally offensive to me. I have never heard that argument ever. Hey, I got to hear some of Dave’s show today. Was that SM Bill with the rant about the Catholic Church?

    July 14, 2007 at 1:59 am

One day a florist goes to a barber for a haircut. After the cut he asked about his bill and the barber replies, “I cannot accept money from you.
I’m doing community service this week.
“The florist is pleased and leaves the shop.
Next morning when the barber goes to open his shop,
there is a thank you card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.
Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he goes to pay his bill
the barber again replies, “I cannot accept money from you.
I’m doing community service this week.
” The cop is happy and leaves the shop.
Next morning when the barber goes to open up there is a
thank you card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.
Later a Republican comes in for a haircut, and when he goes to pay
his bill the barber again replies, “I cannot accept money from you.
I’m doing community service this week.
” The Republican is very happy and leaves the shop.
Next morning when the barber goes to open, there is a thank you card
and a dozen different books, such as “How to Improve Your Business”
    and “Becoming More Successful.”
Then a Democrat comes in for a haircut, and when he goes to pay his
bill the barber again replies, “I cannot accept money from you.
I’m doing community service this week.
” The Democrat is very happy and leaves the shop.
The next morning when the barber goes to open up,
there are a dozen Democrats lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between left and right!

    Downcast Bob,

Just thinking about your answer and the sometimes humorous names such as Dingy Harry for his old ideas, The swimmer ted kennedy for his ability to swim from the scene where a young girl was gulping a rather large drink of water, and Leaky Lehey for his past know leaking of classified information. And my own specials like Downtrodden Bob, Sadomasicistic Bill for his years of sexual abuse from the priests that turned him against the catholic church, and my all time favorite Newt One since I remind someone of Newt Gingrich, a good speaker of the house unlike our current bimbo we now have.

Oh, and this is not exclusive to the right there DTB. Our mainstream media commonly sais Mister Bush or Mister Cheney….President is the title there folks. Michelle calls Bush King George, and SMBILL does too. Jack the bribe considering ass wipe says that our troops killed in cold blood, not even allowing that they have not been proven guilty….john f’n kerry calls our troops “jack boothed thugs, terrorizing women and children at night”. SOooooo , Downtrodden, hope I refreshed your memory about name calling. Which is more harmful to individuals? The humor based names that I like, or the hate filled and spin filled names called on the left?

  36. Downtown Bob
    July 14, 2007 at 4:27 am

new tone, newt one, whatever: Thank you for continuing in the proud tradition of attempting to deflect a considered criticism into a “tit-for-tat” about name calling. Calling the President “Mister” is usually viewed as an equal salutation if during the conversation or article the title President is used first; but I cannot cite a source for the proper etiquette for this example. I have used some of the slur names for the President in the past and realized that I was not behaving in an adult manner by doing so, so I stopped. In the incident that I think you are referring to concerning the Honorable Representative Jack Murtha:

But Haditha did not become a major issue until May, when Rep. John P. Murtha (D-Pa.), who had turned sharply against the Iraq war, said at a news conference that Marines had “killed innocent civilians in cold blood.” Murtha is a former Marine and had been briefed by a senior Marine officer on the probe.
I haven’t been able to find out what the final ruling was concerning those Marines, but I’m sure Rich will chime in and let us know the facts.
Link here to the article that I quoted.
As for Senator John Kerry; he never called our troops “terrorists” and never used the term “jack booted thugs”. Link here to a one minute fourteen second Youtube video of him on “Meet the Press” where he did say that it was wrong for our troops to go into Iraqi houses and terrorize women and children by not following the historical customs of the country, Iraqi troops should be conducting the house to house sweeps. Please click the link and watch it for yourself. If you want to present evidence to the contrary, link to a new-site, not a blog.

One last thing concerning Vice-President Cheney and gays or lesbians; if the V.P. is so accepting of his daughter’s lifestyle as a lesbian, why haven’t there been any photos of him and his wife with their daughter and her partner? I have seen a picture of VP Cheney and his wife with their new grandchild, but his own daughter and her partner were nowhere to be seen. If you have a link or url to a site that has pictures of the VP and his daughter with child and partner, please provide.

Downtown Bob was suggested to me by Dave as a means of identifying me differently from anyone else in San Luis who goes by the name Bob when I or they call into his show. If you righties cannot stop yourself from attempting to demean someone by continually mangling or misspelling their name, so be it. It does give everything else you write such credibility. The real irony is that I am a very upbeat guy on most issues and especially how I react with most people face to face. Whatever.

You draw your own conclusions, as for me, rob is just another maladjusted lefty loon that can’t keep a promise if his life depended on it!
No integrity…no honor…Just another typical radical lefty that is pissed cuz hid congress has the lowest ratings since polls began.
    Typical troubled child.
I got $1000 bucks that says this wacko works for a tax supported agency. Any takers?

“surely truth hurts must be a parody, nobody can be that vindictive and stupid.”

Please read YOUR post about the Republican convention.

hey jerry, er, I mean ‘truth’

looks like you owe paul $1000. I own my own cabinet shop and make my living doing beautiful work for people who make more per year than you’ll ever make in your life. Of course you wont pay off the bet, because, aside from basic spelling and grammar skills, you also lack ethics and honor.

Jerry, did you mean that you’re back, or do you finally recognize that Arizona has baked your brain a little too much? Nice to see that nothing has changed: “… HES A TAX TROOF (TROUGH?) FEEDING COMMIE….

Oh yeah, everyone who disagrees with you is either a loon, a commie or some combination. Well, okay, you’re back; how about trying to go for more than one comment without insulting anyone? Do you think you can do it Jerry?

Nothing ever changes…SLO the slo death town of the “haves & have nots”
Do any of you realize how insignificant you are in any area? Politics? hahaha! not a chance!

Like I said before, this Jerry guy drives these libs crazy!
It kinda funny. Who is this guy?

Jerry? Jerry, is that really you? No highlighted “jerrydinaz” and you didn’t comment in all caps! As for my “cut ‘n paste”; Jerry, isn’t that a lot like the pot calling the kettle black? How many comments have you ever posted that were either completely cut ‘n paste, or included some?

As for my “getting busted”; typical right wing tactic- accuse someone of something without proof, ignore requests for said proof, have another rightie re-enforce the same claim (without proof, again), they too will ignore requests for proof, and viola! a “claim” of wrong doing is put forth as “fact”. ANYONE who can cut ‘n paste a comment from me or link to it here on Dave’s blog, BRING IT ON.

Did you forget to study in sckool? Actually, I did not do real well in school, but I have worked on my spelling, and being able to use my computer’s spell check. I did manage to graduate from high school and take a couple of years of college, but alas, no degree. Oh well.

… how about trying to go for more than one comment without insulting anyone? I guess we all know how well that worked. I wish I could say that is nice that you have started to identify yourself here when commenting, but it really isn’t all that great. The rancor, the name calling, the misspelling (either on purpose or simply because you don’t care); yeah Jerry, welcome back.

Bob? Insults on this blog? Are you kidding? That is what this blog is about! Asleep again? hmmmm

First off, thinking back over my left wing socialist posts, I would like to apologize for anything that I may have posted that left the impression that I hated anyone on this blog. I read some of anon’s posts and cringe at the thought that I might be coming off like that. So- Marylin, Downtown, and Dave, I’m sorry if I crossed the line between issue and personal.

Notice how I’ve buried this deep down in the bowels of the hell that anything connected with Jerry quickly becomes in the hope that my abasement wouldn’t be too public.

So how do I go about getting my name in those pretty blue letters?

    July 18, 2007 at 3:21 am

follow the instructions Paul! Sorry…the government can’t do that for you!You must try on your own grasshopper!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go knock up my crackhead wife, more babies = more government handouts.

The Repigs are really hateful, UNfunny people, aren't they? Some jackass calling himself "Jerry Dagna" left a hateful message in my inbox on Facebook last night.I have no idea who this person is, but he's a sexist pig who seems to accuse anyone who disagrees with him of being on welfare and on food stamps. He also thinks being divorced is a crime.

To answer your question, yes, it's all true. I should know. This chauvinist troglodyte was married to my aunt, until she decided to divorce him because he was abusive, well they would have been divorced if she'd signed the papers before a car went and hit her and she died…true story.he is in fact a disgusting hypocrite with the intellect of a piece of cheese…albeit a very, angry, self-righteous, immature, sexist, racist piece of cheese and should be a little more diplomatic about whom he chooses launch his poison arrows at. Some people fire back.Hey Dave – don't you background check people before you let them represent you on this show?
