Busy Week Ahead

What happened to the rain this weekend? Charlotte and I were certainly glad for the sunshine and we actually hauled our first load of stuff down to the new place in Nipomo (right there behind the Kmart). We’re looking forward to living in South County and getting involved in the local issues down there, especially the explosive sprawl that seems to have enveloped Nipomo.

Busy week on the radio. Any number of different directions to go in. Immigration is flaring up again. More allegations surrounding the President. The Trib had an interesting article on Sunday about spending habits of city councilmembers. There are now reports that we are considering the nuclear option against Iraq. There is always something going on — being a radio talk show host, even in a small market, is never boring.

We’re still on for the Reagan Library bus trip sometime this spring. Trying to line up a couple sponsors to underwrite the cost of the bus. Details to follow. Also, it looks like we’re finally going to be streaming my show on the Internet around the middle of April. Thanks for your patience on that.

The week is starting to take shape. On Monday, we’ll talk about the Tribune article on councilmember expense accounts, plus Bob Kamm tells you whether you need life coaching. Tom Bordonaro returns to give us his take on Sacramento and answer any county assessor questions you might have. Jack Greene explains why we might go nuclear on Iran. Scary stuff.

Tuesday we have some fun with Mary Alpaugh from American Temps as we invite stories about working for the Boss From Hell. Also, Larry Davis is back, probably with an eye on immigration.

Wednesday promises to be interesting. We’re going to give Consumer Guy Al Brill extra time to talk about the problem with housing inspectors, particularly in unincorporated areas of the county. Dr. Larry Martinez also joins us.

Tune in! Call in! Support Hometown Radio!

Dave, you’ve got to be kidding right?–“We’re looking forward to living in South County and getting involved in the local issues down there, especially the explosive sprawl that seems to have enveloped Nipomo.”

The hypocrisy must have been dripping from your computer screen when you wrote that. What happened to “private property rights”?. What if other people in the County decide that Nipomo should be the area where new growth occurs?.

Hmmm, I guess when it is in your backyard you view changes rather drastically.

Hmmm, I wonder when I’m going to get to vote for the Super Wal-Mart or a huge housing development, hopefully right down the street from your new place.

Remember Dave, payback is a bitch.

    Hey, Anonymous Dumbshit —

You obviously don’t listen to Dave much. He’s explained repeatedly that he’s moving “by the Kmart in Nipomo” to protect his privacy, probably from weird fuckers like you!
